The key personnel in SFS have worked together for more than 15 years developing, constructing and installing FPSO’s og drilling units in the Norwegian oil and gas industry. The last FPSO delivered, where the team covered hydrodynamic calculations, steel design og layout, as well as follow up under construction and installation, was the FPSO “Western Isles”. It was handed over in 2017 and is still the only western FPSO where also top side was constructed in China. Since 2017 the teams capacity for design and engineering of steel structures have been utilised by the aquaculture industry in Norway.
